ARGOS LIKE SCHEDULE
The 2006 CFL schedule is apparently close to being unveiled and it will feature the Argos playing at home predominantly on Fridays and Saturdays. They will play only two games crammed together in a short span of days and that will be the back-to-back games against Hamilton on Labour Day, followed by the return date the following Saturday at the Rogers Centre.

Fridays and Saturdays are the best nights/days for football. Hope this is a permanent end to those ridiculous Wednesday night games!

I don't know about completely eliminating the Wednesday and Tuesday games, but save them for the pre season, and not have them in the regular season.
Actually I like a mid-week game as long as it is not to close tho the previous or next game

None of those crappy mid-week games. This is gonna be a great year down at the RC.
Other benefits.
-3 instances of games 5 days apart (not bad)
-4 of last 5 games are home games, with the lone road tilt being at Hamilton = no travel after Mid-September!! That's really gonna help gear up for the playoff push!
This is , without question, the best home schedule I've seen for the Argos in the past 10 years.
Excellent sched, best in recent memory. I predict average of 40,000 with a real sellout at the Eastern Final.
