Argos hire Jim Barker

Argos hired a seasoned executive in Jim Barker. He's respected, knowledgeable and a tremendous ambassador for the CFL. As a fan of the Argo's I've had the pleasure of seeing Jim around BMO field in Toronto and he's approachable, loves talking football and is genuine.

Like Chris "Consultant" Jones last summer, I wonder if the Argos are circumventing the CFL management salary cap by hiring JB as a "senior advisor"

I wasn't aware the CFL has a "management salary cap" ??? I thought the salary cap was for players only.

Yep, they are limited as to how much they can spend on coaches and staff.
