Argos' Cordarro Law dedicating season to former college roommate and teammate

For those unaware of the story, Law’s teammate with the Golden Eagles, Martez Smith, was paralyzed from the waist down after being shot outside a club in Hattiesburg, Miss. he choose to wear smith's college number with the argos when he was given the choose of a jersey number

Good to see Cordarro Law step up his game yesterday with a couple of sacks and pressure all game. The Argo defense is going to be at their best if this team is going to advance in the playoffs IMO. The veteran players signed earlier for such a time as this now have to lead. I'm not so sure the defense has played any better since Jones took over, but the vets on this team like |Muamba, Judge, McCoil, Edwards, Law, Hughes, Turner, Richardson, Richards and Butler have been there before and should know what is required come playoff time. Oakman and Decloud have been good new additions. Time to step up and lead the way defense because this offense is to hit and miss IMO.

Good game by the Argos when it really counted. Kind of surprising on one hand but then this defense just played up to it's potential and was the difference IMO. Will be interesting to see how many backups get to play now Tuesday night. Good time to rest some weary veterans and see what some of the young guys can do.

Last count about 15 regulars sitting this one out, with a few others dressing as back ups. Argos have almost enough players in camp to field a second team. I would think this has to be a big game for Antonio Pipkin to try and establish himself as a possible starting QB again in the League. Wishing him the best he seems to have all the physical tools. Also interested in seeing Cole McDonald get some playing time. 70 passing TD's in College, ran a 4.58 forty at the NFL combine, so he can scramble if need be. Dinwiddie says he has a strong arm as well. A RB named Cam Scarlett who listed at 6'0 220 is on the roster behind Ouellette . I have always been a fan of big powerful running backs. Argos never seemed to be able to find a good one, maybe Scarlett can fit the bill looking forward to next year. Don't expect a very big crowd tonight though. Might be a sell out if played at Varsity Stadium. 5,000.
