TORONTO — The Toronto Argonauts have added a new piece to their defence.
The team announced on Thursday it has acquired National linebacker Jordan Williams from the BC Lions in exchange for a first round pick (ninth overall) in the 2023 CFL Draft.
Very good deal for both clubs. Looks like Muamba is moving on from Argos. BC only had 6 picks in upcoming draft, none in round 1 or 3. So this is a good move for them. I expect the TiCats to be going for trades to upgrade their draft picks once FA is over, if not before.
