(As a Bomber fan I could probably use one about now...)
I feel the same as you about Argo GCs. But 4 straight wins, on the road, with a backup QB? All this only 2-3 years after Bart Andrus and Cleo Lemon? While you and we have these endless droughts going? Some people can build teams, and some can't...
Not going to happen, it will be the Ti-Cats vs Calgary and everyone will then see after the Ti-Cats win the Grey cup, why we let Glenn go and got Burris!
I hope you're right Bruce. Only a couple of weeks ago I thought the Cats
would easily catch the blows for 1st place. Now, I hate to say, I have my doubts.
October 4 & 14th will obviously determine who will finish first in the East
Even if the ArgosSuck finish in 1st we will still beat them when it counts in the Eastern Finial! Plus you really think the CFL and the Commiss ,TSN, really want the eastern finial in Guelph where may 12 thousand would be able to go. NOT A CHANCE and they will do everything in their power to see that does not happen. Financially it would be a great toll, even the Hotels in Toronto would tell you the same! If you think I'm cracked well maybe I am, but you cant deny the Argo's have had a LOT of BS penalties that ended up changing a game called in their favours!
5 to go,6 pts back…afraid to say…but the 1rst place ship has sailed
Right now, let’s just hope we can hang on to 2nd and a East Semi game in Guelph
Hate to admit it,but the Argos winning all 4 games on the road,is an impressive feat,to say the least.
With that being said,I’m not ready to cede the East to the Blue team, this is the CFL,and as we all know,in the play-offs anything can happen in this crazy league. In a one game winner take all…anything can happen…need I remind everybody that last year the Argos finished at a very mediocre 9-9 record and somehow managed to win it all.The Argos last year were only 6 and 9 after 15 games played,we could very well be that exact record after 15 games this year.In this league all you have to do is make the play-offs and anything is possible after that. The Argos of last year are a perfect example of that.

OK.....Answer this question. When was the last game that Ricky Ray had a bad game?? , Now when was the last time Buris
had a bad game?? I REST MY CASE!
BoBo, I'm not sure if an individual argo falls that no fan will hear him, I do know for a fact that when trees fall in a forest and no one is around, they DO make a sound......

You asked......What do you think??......I told you what I think......no I don't think we can catch the Blue team for first, but NO!!!! I'm not ready to automatically anoint the Blue team a berth in the Cup.
As I posted your beloved Argos  were only 9-9 last year and fluked their way to a championship, noway were they the BEST team last season, but they were the BEST team on that day,so as far as I'm concerned saying a team has the CUP in the Bag when there is still 5 games to go plus play-offs is just plain NUTS.As for when who had a bad game as opposed to who had a bad game, who really friggin cares!!!! The last time I looked Mr.Ray is mortal and pulls his pants down same as everyone else does when he takes a crap, yeah Ray is good at what he does,so is Burris,on any given day either one of them can have a bad game as opposed to a good one.I hear rumor that not many post in the Argo forum......maybe ya can start posting there, since your so sure of a Trawna Grey Cup,get back to me in about 8 weeks, when your team wins the Big one.Oh by the way,on the top quote you got my words but GOTC wrote: :cowboy: Who knows you may very well be correct on your prediction of another Argo Grey Cup...but don't bet on it!!!! You have to admit that posting this topic in the Ti-Cat forum is borderline Troll and should have been posted in the main CFL Forum......NOT HERE!!!!!
If I was handicapping the Grey Cup, I’d say the Argos are the favorites to repeat. Calgary would be my second choice. I don’t think BC is in their class and the wheels have fallen off the Roughies wagon. Hamilton is getting close but they aren’t there yet–still a few missing pieces. Also, every game is a road game for them despite what the team says. Montreal has fallen back to the pack.
I can’t see any glaring holes in the Argo lineup. They just won four straight against the best in the West minus some of their best offensive players.
Too bad TO sports fans are too snooty to give the Argos a look see. That goes for much of the media too.
In answer to your question with the Argos improbable 4 game road winning streak, and being up on us now by 6 pts with 5 games to go,we would have to not only win both games against the Blue Team,to take the season series, but would also have to go at least 4-1 down the stretch and hope that they go 1-4 to end up in 1rst.If We split with them, they have the season series 2-1 and would give them a 10-5 record to our 7-8 record, still up by 6 pts with only 3 gms to go.Realistically I don't think we have a shot at 1rst place, even with a sweep we would be sitting at 8-7 to their 9-5,with 3 to go,the only way a 1rst place finish would be achievable then would be us to either go 2-1 and they go 1-2 to both end up at a tie at 10-8 each, with 1rst going to us on the season series 2-1.We could maybe make it interesting with a win next game, but I think right now, holding on to 2nd should be our priority, defeat the Al's at home(Guelph )in the semis at set up a winner take all at the Rogers in the East Final. To me getting the season series against Montreal is more realistic and important than trying to catch Tor for 1rst place.

It all boils down to a eastern final at Rodgers Center if we are lucky, against the ARGOS. I really don't think the Cats
have the talent to beat the Argos at home. We badly need a deep threat and good FG kicking to have any chance.
I see the ARGOS winning the Cup again . Which to me is a waste of a good event on people who don't care.
