Argonauts win at home in rematch with Stampeders

TORONTO — Last week it was the Calgary Stampeders who claimed victory over the Toronto Argonauts at home after a stunning fourth-quarter comeback. In Week 10, the Argos returned the favour with a 32-point second half to power to a bounce-back 39-25 win over the Stamps in the second half of their home-and-home series on Friday night.

Yeah, those spit spot Argos scored a crisp 32 points in the second half and really cleaned their clocks… whups, I meant to say: Calgary ate something rancid and puked up 25 points while Janarion Grant rammed another 6 down their queasy throats.

Thanks for doing that for us Toronto. We owe you one. In the meantime somebody please get poor Dave Dickenson a mop… oh crap he stepped in it. Ewww.

Second week in a row that the Refs made outrageous calls. Probably it took 7 points off of the board for Calgary. So obvious, How are the refs continuing to screw up like this?

They had money on Toronto

I sure hope the Argos get Chad Kelly back for their next game because without him they are going nowhere. Their current QBs just can’t get the job done. The defence lost talent from free agency and has been decimated by injuries but they’re still getting the job done, although they looked like the keystone cops trying to bring down Reggie Begelton on that one gallop of his carrying several players down to the one yard line. Then half the line lined up offside. They ran the ball a bit more tonight but not much more. Why? Calgary ran the ball well with their starting back out and only one backup, Logan, but they used some receivers for some carries and did well.

Thank god for the defence and special teams. The offence has been sputtering for the last 3-4 games., but a win is a win.

Dinwiddie is expecting word from the CFL office in the next few days. IF he has done the work, I expect he will be back. At the beginning of the season if anyone had told me the Argos would be 5-4 with him out, I’d say that would be a good number.

Helped da riders too.
Can we hope the same for the Elk to do our teams a great big favor too?
Highly doubtful I think.???

I was surprised that Arbuckle could generate a win. Maybe there’s hope in him after all.

Lions should win even with Dolegala. Yet, considering Ford has only been in for 1 game, Elks rank 2nd in Offensive pts/game & offensive TD’s. Surprisingly the Lions, with a good back end, rank just ahead of passing yds allowed/game & behind them in QB efficiency of opposing teams.

Last season the Lions completely negated Ford. Can they do it again? I still give them the edge but it’s played in Edmonton in front of 9,000 screaming fans so…:grinning:Seriously, though, it should be a close game IMO, Rider.

With my green glasses on I am hoping the Lion D wins the game.
With no green glasses on I can easily see the Elk taking this one.
They are a far better team with this so called QB who the previous head coach said had no leadership abilities.
If that bonehead was able to swallow his pride and would have played Tre last year after game two he would still be employed in Elkville and possibly a real contender for a championship :trophy: this season

Michels catch at the end of the second quarter clearly hit the ground
Incomplete
So I guess we are even

Yep 5 - 4 with backup qb’s
What’s that say about the teams we beat
We will take it
And ya the rest of the league should be worried if Kelly comes back
