Argo sign another big Name WR from the NFL.

In related news, the Als signed former NFL 1st round pick Peter Warrick. According to the FAN 590 Warrick hasn't played football at all in the last 3 years so I guess this is another calculated gamble on a guy who might have some miles left on his tires.

Not only has Warrick not played in 3 years he hasn't done anything since his days playing with Danny Mcmanus at Flordia State.

Really what is the better signing Bethel Johnson or Willie Ponder? Neither until they play in this league.

The history of high-profile "NFL castoffs"
I think you are mistaking 'High Profile' with a guy 'That Played' in the NFL.

per TSN:

He's injured and has left the Argos.

David Boston has left the Toronto Argonauts to consult with a Baltimore specialist on a foot injury.

It is a pre-existing injury to his right foot and the receiver has not been cleared to practice with the team.

The Argos will not know until the end of the week if Boston will need surgery or not.

If Boston does need to have surgery he would not rejoin the team for 10-12 weeks but if surgery is not needed, he would be back in the next couple of weeks.

The club placed Boston on the suspended list Sunday along with imports Michael Quarshie (DT) and Richard Zulys (OL).

The Argos also released import Greg Cole (LB).
