Argo Draft Picks

A lot of no names in this draft. Argos get a good player in Coombs though. Should be a good back up for Durie to start his career.
After that? Hope they are some surprises.

Now if we can get more than 19,000 fans to come out and support the team we won't be the laughing stock of the CFL.

Coombs was a great pick. CFL teams are signing many import Hybrid type players right out of the NCAA.
Coombs a Canadian player will not take up an DI spot and with Owens older an being a top receiver now Coombs is an sexcellnt returner as well as a receiver RB.

Agreed, have you seen this kid play, has such a natural pace, if he gets great tutelage under Durie, he is SET

I also watching him dominate team USA in the International bowl and for team Canada in whitch both beat the US before he entered the CIS. Will Finch was also the QB on those teams.

Durie has moved onto strictly a SB now and only has played RB in an emegency role. Coombs can take the Change up RB spot now. Owens also has become a top receiver and Coombs could be the heir apparent to the return job. Owens and Durie just playing their receiver roles will extend their career.

Toronto also has another good Canadian Skill player in Receive Natey Adjei. He dominated at the Juco level. Redshirt when he transferred to Buffalo. spent his red shirt Junior year as a top teams player at Gunner i think. Last season he started the season at buffalo coming in as the second SB and was ready to take a starters role before injury.
His ability to play coverage teams could get him a roster spot as he can be develop into a receiving role following the same Blue Print as he did at U of B.

Draft was thinner this year but among last years rookies Cleyton Laing will up his game no dout.
Will LB Herve Tonye Tonyecould be among the growing number of Canadian Will LBs who are strating to see the field on defense and not just teams.
Natay already mentioned should make the 46 on his teams play but also adds to Durie, Watte, and Bradwell.
Of course the big man out of MAC sewell is among a nice group of rookie Olineman who were drafted last year in the first round and went back to school.
