Anyone know status on Rambo`s injury

That really sucks out for the year, Armstrong here he comes

It looked horribly like a horse collar tackle, but I wasn't on the field. Nevertheless, it was a terrible way to end someone's season (and maybe career), accident or not. I imagine it's not an easy thing to necessarily avoid doing in some situations. Which is possibly why it wasn't called. It may have appeared to the refs to be accidental. i can think of no other reason why they wouldn't call that unless they just flat out missed it.

Come on people, you act all shocked that the refs missed an (according to many here) obvious call. News flash, refs miss a lot of calls every game. In fact I recall more than one call missed in that game.

Most face-mask penalties are uninentional as well. Should they stop calling that?

If they determine that it's something that just happened in the course of making the tackle, they're supposed to give him 15 yards.

If they determine that it was an deliberate act, committed with malice of forethought and with intent to injure, they're supposed to throw him out of the game, with a 25-yard penalty. I seriously doubt this was the situation in Glatt's case.

But they're never supposed to just say, "oh well, he didn't mean to do it" and just let it go.
