I registered with CFL+ for the 2023 season and it worked flawlessly. However, the problems in 2024 were constant. I would get assorted messages on the screen the most common were “This game is Unavailable in Your Area” and “No Event Scheduled”. I was unable to watch nearly 1/3 of the games. What was even more frustrating was when I could only get 1 game of the 2-3 that were scheduled for that day on CFL+. The only troubleshooting solution was a small window that said if you were having trouble connecting to refresh the browser, this worked maybe 1/4 the time. Although in the registration instructions it said you’d only be asked to register ONCE when I would try to access a game CFL+ would ask me to re-register. I have tried to contact them for some technical assisstance but never got thru. If you had problems how did you solve them? Thanks
We’ll see how it goes this year with CFL+ and what CBS decides to do or not.
If some games are also on CBS Sports Network, which fewer people have than ever on cable, I figure it’s the last year for that noise since Paramount and Skydance are completing their merger this summer.
We have to simply repeat the process each year for CFL+.
I watched games on two different screens in two different locations on CFL+ and simply registered for each one with the same e-mail. The viewing experiences in 2023 and 2024 were good. I only remember having an issue like you describe one time in 2024.
As usual after registering once for each device, if having problems, clear cookies within the last few weeks, restart your device, and that will solve most issues. That’s the same as with an awful lot of viewing via any given platform or app.
A FAST channel for the CFL would be a nice addition for viewing convenience, which more and more sports are adding now for easier viewing on any device.
The best part of all this is that it is free to watch so many more games on CFL+ outside of Canada and no longer to be at the mercy any more of a stupid cable network for scheduling for most games, even after paying for that nonsense.
And if here in 2025 your TV in the US is not yet set up to stream live content, NOW is the time to get to it and NOT wait until the season starts and then come here to complain again about your damn TV.
If your TV is not set up yet to watch live streams, you are at least three years late too for what most people watching live sports not on cable have been doing now since at least 2010.
This happened a few times. I emailed the Blue Bombers and someone got back to me instantly (like five minutes after I’d sent it on a Friday night) saying they’d look into it. I never heard anything else but I learned later that it had been picked up by CBS Sports so they couldn’t stream it.
Paolo_X First off My TV is set up to live stream, and so is my computer. I also get CBS Sports and watch the schedule so I know which games are on which service. You must think no one but you has the intelligence to do any trouble shooting. So please keep your annoyed and condescending replies to yourself.
No worries, my post was not in response to you but in general, for I did not directly respond to you anyway.
We have had those issues arise each year with a small few who don’t fix their TVs, who also might be swinging by here in May to read this post, which you started, but to only later complain here instead of fixing their damn TVs like grown men right now.
You are obviously all set!
Now you can of course take your own advice and keep all the rest of whatever mess it appears you have to yourself, for that post was not intended for those who have things otherwise working like you.
Thanks for that. Can’t wait for the season opener. Not sure who to root for yet probably all of them!
yeah, I am having problems. cant find any games on this week
UFL starting on Friday is all there is now. Go for it.
