Anybody hear how many are expected Friday?

Just haven't heard anything anywhere. I think its smart scheduling to have their weakest attendance game each year as their home opener. Definitely want to try and get there.

I was wondering as well. Given the season ticket base has dipped by about 2,000 and it's Hamilton I will say:

Low: 28,000
High: 30,000

so are we now the worst team in the cfl because we lost to the worst team and our defence couldn't really come up with big plays till the end and our offence gryce mullen 2 dropped passes and a catch buck pierce throws it to floyd like he was one of his receivers so i dont know why wally buono had to gut our team so we were bad to become good again i think wally got to into making the team young like we could've kept floyd and cleremont

When did you expect the team to change? When you have 17 players over the age of Thirty last year, when would you like to the team to get younger???? It had to change at some point. It happens to teams all the time. Its two freaking games and most us remember when preseason used to be longer and 4 games were played and not two. Are we that bad! Let see Calgary is in the same boat .Edm got their clocks cleaned last week. If Sask played like they did last week im pretty sure they'll lose.
Come back to us half way thru the season and tell us if were that bad or not. Geesh didn't the Lions win a grey cup when they were 2-3 one year????

Just wanted to say, despite losing, your team put in a great effort tonight, hang tough guys. :rockin:

The better team won, too bad for us, it was the other cats, not orus.

Thats was a pretty good game . Despite the lost ,Hamilton did a great job tonight.

One more thing . Would you like to take a chance on Clermount on the injured list taking up cap space like last year. Ottis is thirty-five years old. You also have to think about the cap even thou i love those players to be here.
Don’t be so harsh on Pierce. You know if Wally gave up on QB like Pierce then you’ll probably wouldn’t have seen QB LIKE Dickenson ( Almost the same stature and Abilities) ,Garcia, Jackson, Printers ,and the list goes on. Give Buck time to adjust being a starter.Dickenson also needed time to adjust, but he also had a veteran to guide him unlike Jackson and Pierce they are on their own without a Vet to look to during struggling times.

Last night whichever fans high fived Otis floyd now that was class and don't worry to much you guys will have a strong second half to the season

Let's accept it you guys. The Lions did not hand the game to Hamilton. Any way you slice it, Hamilton out played us. Sure there were a couple of controversial calls that but those were not in themselves game breakers. And over the season they generally even out.

Hamilton is improving each season and I'm glad to see it. Like anyone else who is a Lions fan, I wanted B.C. to win. As far as the 3 point game difference goes we can go back to the blown convert after B.C.s first TD and the 2 points missed when McCallum missed his field goal. The game would have been tied when all was said and done. Am I saying it was McCallum's fault? Nope! But that did account for the 3 point spread.

In terms of the bigger picture, Hamilton has had some dismal past seasons. I'm just glad Hamilton has not gone the way of Ottawa and folded. That would not be good for the CFL. It is important that they get as many wins as they can- even at the expense of B.C.

I was glad to see that Buck was not sacked a single time during the game compared to what happened against the Roughies last week. We'll see if the offensive line's performance had more to do with making some important adjustments or if HamiIton's defensive line is just not all that strong. Edmonton will tell the story.

It was good to see Simon in top form again. I've missed seeing vintage Simon plays. Mallet is a keeper in my books. A little more time and he will be an awesome threat.

Grice-Mullen is playing his hardest and he knows what he has to do. He has to stop dropping balls that are catchable! I don't know how you coach that sort of thing.

McCallum continues to miss field goals that in the past he routinely kicked. What is going on there? To his credit though, he kicked some awesome punts. He is still an asset to the team. I just hope he works through whatever the problems are. But like Passaglia once said, three key people are involved when kicking field goals: the center, the placement holder, and the kicker.

We do not have an effective punt return game with Smart out of the line-up though Grice-Mullens and the other returner are doing their best.

McCallum's injury left us without a significant punter although Jackson did his best to fill in. And who knows what Crawford's range would be if he would have had to try a game saving last minute field goal attempt. From what I understand the last time he kicked field goals under any sort of pressure was in high school.

Could we have won this game last night? Not by a lot but we could have. But so could Hamilton- and they did but not because of anyone play. Porter looked good and seems to have what it takes. Congrats to the Hamilton Ti-Cats.

I'm looking forward to next Thursday's game against Edmonton. I just hope McCallum is back by then and if not Sean Whyte will fill in. From what I understand Whyte has an awesome kicking leg.

Does anyone know the status of McCallum and Smart. Will either be able to play in next week's game or possibly the game against Calgary?

Classy words from a classy BC fan. I wish more fans around the CFL were as class as Lions fans.

Just one thing though… Buck was sacked once during the game (by Darrell Adams). Not nit-picking, just giving Adams his due.

Keep up the classiness. If any team can rebound from 0-2, it’s the Lions. Have faith in Buono, you’re lucky to have him as your coach (always wished Hamilton had him).

Peace and good luck.

1.The Lions are not blocking or tackling well enough to win football games.
2.To slow down the rush the Lions should have used the quick release to the timing route more often the way the Als are doing it.
3. The defensive and offensive play is too predictable.

Do you see a good road ahead for the BC Lions. Losing against tiger cats? BC is not playing great so far, maybe the new players need to just get use to the formation? But BC always starts a season shitty with like 0-2 or 0-3 but then they come right back and start kicking some ass, so I actually do see good roads ahead for BC.

But if you look at it this way, Calgary is also 0-2, maybe just some begging bad luck.
