Spend a little less time chasing away the most talented players on his team, and a lot more time trying to instill some on field discipline around little things like ball security. Five games into the season, and the Argos lay a big fat one for their home fans. By now teams should be looking for progression. Seven turnovers! The logical conclusion is one of three things: 1) Coaching staff is not paying attention to ball security (perhaps more focused on proving how tough they are), or 2) The players aren’t buying what Andrus is selling, or 3) The entire team stinks. My guess is it’s a combination of all three…As for the Bombers…seven take aways and a 13-12 victory. There’s an offensive juggernaut in the making…
Add the irony of preaching Argo team discipline all week and then losing the game by one point today due to a time count violation on the third to last play of the game resulting in a 57 yard missed field goal attempt instead of a 47 yard successful field goal attempt.
Argo…s sU…
And to those that are critical of the rouge, take note that the blue team wasn’t able to tie the game because they did not get a single point for missing that field goal.
