Andrew Harris surpasses 10,000 career rushing yards

REGINA — Andrew Harris hit a major milestone in his career on Sunday night.

The Toronto Argonauts running back passed 10,000 rushing yards in the team’s Week 7 matchup against the Saskatchewan Roughriders, becoming the sixth player in CFL history to do so. He also became the first Canadian to hit the 10k mark.

Great for Andrew Harris getting to the 10,000 yard mark. Argos just about gave the Game to the Riders but with some late 4th Q playing managed to defeat the Riders who were short 2 players for misconduct suspensions and some more for cavorting with the Covid virus after hours. Rider Coaches need to get those misbehaving player under better control or they could be challenging the Elks for last place in the Western Division.

Harris picked up 188 all-purpose yards and bailed Dinwiddie and his mistake prone offence out this game. Credit that fired up Rider defence and special teams unit for keeping it close and scaring the crap out of the Argos. It was a much better contest than anyone thought it would be.
