Nice pick up. I wonder what Andrew’s ultimate destination in the future is as to being on a coaching staff down the road

Color(A), Colour(N) me impressed . All the best to you Andrew…I need not remind Rider’s fans a few years back when Harris was tossing Rider players around the end zone by their hamlets

Andrew joining the Rider’s will add to the enjoyment of LDC & BB games along with the other 3 ( 2 preseason & one regular) games. I hear Westwood might be available.

Is this a plant by Winnipeg?? Something smells fishy….

I’m sure Harris will make a great coach. I don’t really care what teams he played for in the past. His leaving Winnipeg wasn’t a love story that’s for sure, though I’m sure when he gets a chance to go back there to coach he will. This is a transitional league and until the next transition I trust he’ll do well here. It is a little hard to handle as he was a nemesis for years but you have to respect his accomplishments.

Ah, that’s just part of the fun with fickle fans from every team. Will be great to see what Andrew adds to the team one Provence west of Winnipeg

Exactly . Really no different then if let’s say O’Shea was announced as Hamilton’s head coach for example . You could damn well guarantee that all of a sudden Ti-Cat fans would love him . I know this one would .

Didn’t you just lour Ted Goveia from us, now you want O’Shea too?

Only if he brings his khaki shorts with him .

I always enjoyed watching him play. Should be a good fit with A.J. ,as they worked together in Toronto.

A.J. Allen linebacker? Not sure how that works
Just kidding, agree, Ouellette struggled a bit last year. Hopefully he gets back to his usual self… other than when he’s playing the Bombers

this makes complete sense.

Last I heard the CFL was a business. Not a fan of Harris But! If it is a for the betterment of the team ? Then so be it. Only time will tell if this move is the right one.

Personal prediction is head coach and then GM based on his CJFL resume.

Do Rider fans still feel Harris is a roid head who should be banned from league undeserving of his awards???

What??

Hey, we would even embrace Henry Burris if he was to come in at any coaching capacity. Your arguments is rather immature at best and one huge Troll

I’ll let this comment stand this time as an example, but would ask that you stop trolling entire fanbases with your negative comments. You previously did that on the Willie Jefferson signing thread as well. We all have our favourite teams to cheer on, but there is no need to denigrate other teams and fanbases.

You may not be very familiar with the CFL or sports in general, but PED’s are prevalent on all teams in all sports and it is generally agreed that those who are caught are just the tip of the iceberg. Not that long ago and well after Harris was nabbed a member of the Stampeders was caught, and not the first Stampeder to be caught.

You also may be aware that Shawn Lemon committed even a worse offence by betting on a game his team played in. He did so while a Stampeder.

My point is that all teams have had players that have breached the rules and even the law, so there is no need to attack other fanbases and by implication pretend that the Stampeders are lily white. They are no better or worse than anyone else, so please let’s try and keep discussions civil as opposed to intentionally inciting an argument.

This is not an appropriate response. Sure steroids exist in CFL. But my point is more aboutface then whtaboutism
