American city's in CFL

The CFL has Problems Keeping Teams A Float in Here In Hamilton and Down the QEW in Hogtown.
Onknight, has anyone told the CFL, and specifically Bob Young, about this since he arrived here six(6) years ago ? I think somebody had better break the bad news to him .... and soon.

I am sure Bob Young knew this before he bought the team
and for your own credibilty, deerhunter, for starters,

you might want to brush up on the history prior
to the year that Bob Young bought the team,

the Grant and Mc Donald years, or the years before
Mayor Bob Morrow got Dave Braley to buy the team,

Harold Ballard's years as an owner of the Ticats

or the community owned years when the Ticats
were operated by Roger Yachetti and John Michaluk

I won't waste my time going back further in Ticat history
because you probably wouldn't get my point anyways.

yuk yuk yuk, to you

Well onknight said it in the present tense.. the cfl HAS problems keeping a team afloat here in hamilton.

All of your posts about the past dont have any relevance. The cfl is not currently having problems keeping a team afloat here in hamilton.
You obviously didnt get the point in the first place, and good thing you didnt go back farther in history, it would have been just as pointless.

The rest of that quote is...and Down the QEW in Hogtown.

All of your posts about the past dont have any relevance.

The cfl is not currently having problems
keeping a team afloat here in hamilton.

You obviously didnt get the point in the first place,
and good thing you didnt go back farther in history,

it would have been just as pointless.

Maybe ONknight didn't parce his words accuately enough for you.

but ONknight and almost everybody else who follows the CFL,
knows it is Toronto having problems at the present time,

not the Hamilton Tiger Cats under Bob Young's ownership, extybe.

Lots has been said in the media about the Argo owners having problems
paying all their bills down the QEW in Hogtown at the present time.

Almost everybody knows that Bob Young
has enough money to keep afloat here

and nothing has been written in the media
about Bob Young wanting to sell the team.

May I humbly suggest that it was you who
misinterpreted ONknight's words, not me.

and deerhunter was confused as well, and
he was rude to ONknight because of it

much more than you are being to me, extybe.

2 things need to happen to have US franchises

 1. A viable market for the team
 2. The US government allowing the CFL to enforce the import/non import rule equally with all teams

Number 2 means it cannot ever happen without destroying the import rules. As I have said in other threads, that would ultimately cost the league far more fans than it would attract
