Als part ways with DT Almondo Sewell

MONTREAL — The Montreal Alouettes have released veteran defensive tackle Almondo Sewell.

First class guy - one of the all time greats at the position. Probably is the end of the road. Als looking at a National at this position. If Walker signs with Stamps could they be looking @ Wiggan?

Thank you Almondo for a great career. A class act from the start. Let’s hope you are picked up if you still want to continue in the CFL. Good luck in the future

Yep, great player, class act, but it was time to part ways. His production went down pretty steadily the last two years and he wasn’t an every-down player anymore in Thorpe’s 3-4 alignment. I wish him all the best, though.
