On the TSN690 pre-game show, when asked about what Crompton needed to do Herb said "I remember the bad times ...".
Herb ........... remembering the BAD times.
Shocking.

:PYou should have heard how nasty he got on CJOB’s pre-game show. Took shots at both Wetenhall and Popp. Used reference “Blind leading the blind” when asked about coaching changes. Rare that I think Herb is “biatch” but this was a new low for Herb.
I can’t recall the last article that didn’t have at bare minimum a subtle shot at Popp or the Als; most aren’t subtle.
"Johnny all charm and class":Herb. Johnny will do you a favour. Drop blended Scotch. Single malt is much better. ESPECIALLY Islay Scotch! Try some 12 or 15 year Bowmore. You’ll thank Johnny!
AND NO ICE! [/i]
Johnny, Herb,
If you’re going to go Islay, try Laphroag. Now you’re talking serious peat smoke.
PS: No ice goes without saying.
Thanks Phil! Johnny will try for sure!
Don't be fooled by stats, Als QB Crompton is a winner

Herb's brilliant analysis:
All he seems to do is win — even when he hasn’t played for three months, or when the team’s breaking-in a pair of new offensive co-ordinators ... So let’s put all this into perspective. Defeating the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, especially at home, doesn’t exactly mean this team has turned the corner ... But all he does is win. Just like a year ago, when the Als went 8-2 down the stretch with him as the quarterback of record ...
HZ can't tell the difference between a team winning on ST and defence, and the QB not blowing it, and the QB winning.
