Dominique Davis is a true journeyman QB. In case of emergency, break glass and call Dominique.

Well that was a quick end to Evans’ season. Wow did he go out with a fine play before his injury.

Now that Davis, well he’s a great slinger just like Ron Burgundy was back in the day, so I suppose they’ll just use him for Team Jumbo.

The problem with the CFL is they do not “groom” future QB’s instead sign retread QB’s that have no upside.

Davis was signed specifically because Montreal’s backup QB suffered a season-ending injury. Has nothing to do with QBs of the future.

Have you seen Alexander? Or Dru Brown? Maybe Tre Ford? Or even possibly Patterson?

There is a requirement to have three guys dressed, who can play QB. For Montreal with two guys hurt, Dom slots in, knows the system, and can play if called on. Which I must say is far better than a lot of teams could do with two of three starting QB’s hurt.
