MONTREAL- For all the optimism coming from head coach Marc Trestman over the condition of Anthony Calvillo, and his assurance that Calvillo won’t miss any games, we might not know who the Alouettes’ starting quarterback will be until Montreal’s opening possession Friday night at Hamilton.

And who could blame Trestman for playing coy? Why show your hand to an East Division rival with so much, potentially, at stake?

The Als are scheduled to practice only once this week, on Wednesday, but it might be an abbreviated workout, Trestman said, given the soreness of his players and the brevity between games. So, we might know nothing more at that juncture. And, if Trestman’s smart, Adrian McPherson will receive the majority of reps with the starting offence – just in case.

That article didn't say much.

I definitely expect Calvillo to start on Friday.

EDIT: Is it possible that they could sit Calvillo even though he's 100%, due to Josh Bourke being injured? His replacement got abused by Remond Willis on Sunday and Hickman/Baggs (Not to mention our pressure defense) are twice the pass rushers that Willis is. Just a thought.....
