Alouettes sign All-CFL LB Tyrice Beverette to one-year extension

MONTREAL — The Montreal Alouettes announced Wednesday that the team has signed American linebacker Tyrice Beverette to a one-year extension that will keep him in Montreal through 2026. He was already under contract for the 2025 season.

This is a no brainier. Yet another player Hamilton developed and then didn’t keep.

Not so sure they developed him. They rostered him and had him play STs

He had 16 defensive tackles and a sack as a Ticat, so they were clearly trying to work him into the D. No one really keeps American LB’s to play special teams.

Very solid signing by Danny Maciocia. Tyrice was the MOP in my eyes for the :als_red:. In a best case scenario Tyrice Beverette will be a productive member on Defense for the next :two: year’s :star_struck: :football: :vietnam:

17 defensive tackles in 20 games. he hardly played.
vs 27 ST tackles.

Regardless one that got away from the Ticats.
