Montreal Alouettes co-owner Sid Spiegel passed away Wednesday in Toronto, according to a report from the [Montreal Gazette’s Herb Zurkowsky.
Condolences to the family. Sad he didn't get to see his team take the field.

We never got to see him in Montreal, but have to be grateful to him and Gary Stern as it was dicey for awhile if the Als would ever find a viable owner.
