Are you and he related or something?
Watson couldn't even beat out iconic MLB Ahmad Thomas last season.
Do you always resort to acting like an adolescent when you don’t agree with someone?
Personal insult, thanks a bunch, you should know better.
Mine was a lighthearted comment; grow some skin.
It’s not that I disagree (I totally agree that Miles did not deserve to be fired), just that I am finding your mancrush regarding a rather average MLB to be kind of creepy. Reminds me of Senior Ah Me’s love of Adrian Macpherson, or the Manziel fanboys who flooded our forum for a time.
You have Dane Evans' dad - Coach E - defending his son with fans over in the Tiger-Cat forum.
How do we get Harris' or Adam's dad to start posting here.
I know, It’s difficult.
He should wait a day to post
I think he has a point in that it is not completely Evans fault.
And by the way if Condell is in fact fired, Als should hire him as a “consultant”.
I know BC gave him a huge contract but DE Mathieu Betts is having a very good season & is someone the Als could have used.
John Bowman is his position coach.
You guys probably should’ve kept Menard. The only reason he’s having a down year, is because the Lions rotate four defensive ends. Five if you count Pickett getting playing time in a blow out. Even Benoit Marion looks good in TO, maybe the Al’s sign him when he hits free agency.
I can’t find a link now, but Menard & Betts both signed contracts in the $180,000 range, something the Lions could afford with Rourke on a rookie contract.
We’ll see how they are able to handle the cap when Rourke’s agent knocks on the GM’s door in the off-season.
As for Marion, I know he scored the TD last night, but he is a special teamer at best.
He’s been in the Argo’s defense line rotation all season. Putting pressure against QBs and stopping the run. You need to watch more CFL games.
As for Menard and Betts, one will be gone when Rourke needs to be paid. That is why they drafted Pickett and Archibald.

No need to get snarky, I watch all games and if you think Marion's 4 defensive tackles and 1 special team tackle in 7 games makes him elite, you should raise your standards.
One thing I don't want to see next year: Trevor Harris in an Als uniform. Nothing personal, but he isn't the future, and he hasn't put up numbers or given us wins to justify his return.
If Adams can make a full recovery and we haven't alienated him completely, we could restructure his contract (assuming he's willing) and have an open, true battle for starting QB in training camp next year between Adams, Alexander, Davis, and hopefully at least one good QB prospect. If the team moves on from Adams, we'll have to look at other options.
Either way, I think it's time to say goodbye to Trevor Harris.
This non-adolescent agrees wholeheartedly.
Somehow I can not see him being all too willing based on how this season has gone for him.
Tony I think it all depends on what he was told about the reason for his demotion, and his reaction thereto. And we don’t know either. And I suppose that’s as it should be, such things are normally kept in-house.
I could go either way on it. I could well understand him wanting a fresh start somewhere else. On the other hand, he’s spent years here and there is no guarantee he’d get a better deal than even a restructured contract if he goes elsewhere.
He was supposed to be the veteran backup… Not his fault they made him the starter after three games and a quarter. Now that he is going to hit his playing incentives this has to be paid for by someone(s) going on the fake six game IR. I have no idea what next season will bring. I’m not even sure there will be a next season.
Yeah, it’s a mess. I’d be OK if he were just the veteran backup but he’s been shoehorned into this starter role. And I don’t want the new coach, whoever he is, feeling obliged to play Harris because Maciocia is a fan.
