Have to agree with these posts. For Damon to be successful nowadays they’re going to have to give him great pass protection (he’s lost his mobility). I don’t know why they don’t bring in a big import running back that can block as well as run as well (those guys are out there IMO). Forget about Avery if they can’t dress two import backs, go with Johnson and Durie.
All those WR’s look great playing with Bishop because he can gun the ball to them accurately at the right time. Most QB’s in the CFL right now can’t do that.
I thought the Argos had the right idea last night running the ball more but they need that big punishing back to make that work full time, as well lead block for the small backs.
I always thought Sir Charles Roberts in Winnipeg had his best games when Mike Sellers was lead blocking for him.
