MONTREAL — It was business as usual for Davis Alexander and the Montreal Alouettes.
BO has started his last game
The Tiger-Cat fullback James Tuck should learn to tuck in that ball. You are fired, James Fumble. Tuck’s fumble and Bo’s interception set the losing tone for the game.
The agent that finds and signs the Montreal receivers in the last few years certainly deserves a huge bonus. Who is the guy?
A lot of problems for the Cats this season. But not in the stands: there will be 22 000 of us there next week. Imagine if they were winning!

When does the air lift start
Take heart. You are guaranteed at least one more win this season on Labour Day. If only you hated every team like you do Toronto.
Right now, even with a young third string QB, Montreal is “Simply the Best”!!!
Not even close Robert. He is still one of the best and with a good line in front of him he orchestrates beautiful drives downfield. If you said the coach has coached his last game, i might agree with you
Hi Everybody as Dr. Nick from the Simpsons would say,. My Montreal Alouettes are on their way to winning the 2024 CFL Grey Cup just like last year, very happy about that. Other teams in the CFL are not even in the same atmosphere of the reigning CFL champion Montreal Alouettes. Thank you jeremy oday & company for casting aside Jason Maas, Cody Fajardo, Darrell Sankey and all other former roughrider players along with team personnel currently with the Montreal Alouettes Football Club as they show how it get done in Professional Football. Go Alouettes Go! Viva La Quebec.
In Powell We Trust.
And how about a new stadium too, M. Peladeau. Talk to Bob Young: he did it in Hamilton.
All this game tells us is again mtl are just in a different league right now. Playing their third string qb yet have won three straight. Maybe next week they get the L number 2 but we will see.
I think that most fans in Hamilton would prefer to have a winning team on the field over a new stadium. In my opinion there was nothing wrong with the old Ivor Wynne stadium that a new south stand and a few more modifications could not have fixed.
Ottawa consistently had 22k in the stands but when you go through 4 seasons of losing the fans give up and turn away and they won’t come back overnight.
Hamilton fans get excited in the off season and see they have a great team on paper and they renew their season tickets.
Yes it is a strong season seat base, fans and corporate. But its also the Steeltown culture that keeps drawing fans. Unlike Ottawa, there are no alternatives like an NHL team (even more pronounced in the Toronto market). A Ticat game is the weekly event.
But there are two NHL teams close to Hamilton, the Leafs are only 50k away and the Sabres 60k away. Hamilton also has the Blue Jays, Raptors and TFC !!
Besides the NHL is a winter sport and I don’t see many people affording Leaf season tickets.
Exactly. There is sports and entertainment nearby, but they are not Hamilton"s.
Can Mtl go 17-1 will they clinch a playoff spot by Labour Day
