AJ Ouellette

Welcome back Sackatz, and don’t let the conspiracy theory mode of some of the posts in this thread discourage you from continuing to contribute. There are always controversial posts and opinions on this forum, but judging someoe as likely to have done something just based on the way they look isn’t common.

Be thankful that Shawn Lemon isn’t his coach or he would be accused of being a degenerate gambler in addition to taking PED’s.

don’t forget all the players at some point get randomly tested so he would have been caught.

now, just can’t be true…after @mikem guessed all the Cdn O lines are juiced. (just Canadians apparently, not Yankees)

almost like no one has any idea.

Well one thing is for sure, Bo Levi isn’t on steroids. Get that boy a sandwich already.

Bo actually should give that sandwich to Ottawa’s Tyrie Adams. Now there’s a skinny dude.

Good point about S (sour) Lemon, Jon…I am still chortling about that!

Only because this is a forum for speculating and throwing out ideas about CFL related topics. That’s the only reason. Nobody is losing any sleep over this.

that is the lamest excuse for character assassination that I have ever heard! It is a public forum. What if someone falsely accused you, on a public forum, of stealing from your employer, or perhaps child abuse, or drug addiction? Considering that your sullied reputation could cost you your job, would you blow it off, without being outraged? Would you seek legal redress from the poster and/or forum? It isn’t harmless “fun” when you slander someone. And it certainly isn’t just “throwing out ideas.” It is unwarranted, unsubstantiated, invective designed to malign. Those accusations run contrary to his terms of employment. If I was “in the public eye” and read false accusations that could jeopardize my career, you would be hearing from my lawyer!

You’re not wrong but if your offended here don’t go to the US or Canadian elections thread. The amount of unsubstantiated and childish posts there will knock you over.

Hey ABC, appreciate your input. I am not offended…more like disgusted because I just like to see people treated fairly. And I have no desire to get knocked over! LOL The sites you mention display the lowest level of human behaviour. They should be required to post a warning: ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK. PP SHOULD BE WORN, AS BS IS RAMPANT.

I did say I “guess” they are juiced. The majority of our O-linemen are Canadian and it’s a Canadian position and I think Canadians are juiced to keep up with the bigger D linemen who are American.
Are American O-linemen juiced up? I would “guess” yes but there are more Cdn O-linemen because of the ratio.
But hey this just an opinion, I can’t prove it

But how else do these young guys at age 22 bulk up to 300 pounds?

umm.. they work out every day? they consume protein drinks or pills to help with recovery of their muscles. you’d be surprised how easily young men can put on bulk muscle if they do it right.

perhaps you should go to the gym for a year and see for yourself?

Oh…now I understand…there is an imaginary line called the 49th parallel that divides us from the excited states. On the south side they feed on raw meat, grass-fed bulls, or just BS (n abundance) and that automatically makes American linemen bigger…because our guys eat bird seed, dog food, and watered down porridge. Or, is it just breathing “american air” that provides the boost? It is really hard on the psyche of guys who were born only a couple K’s from the border, lamenting that, save for those few K’s, they would have been magically stronger, much heavier (which is probably due to being full of it) and ultimately superior athletes. So, would a guy born in the states, but immediately after birth moved to Canada, still have all that physical superiority?..and do genes alter dramatically after crossing the border?

You are accusing me of accusing him which is wrong. Speculation does not equal accusation.

I find your comments very ironic and hypocritical.

Sounds like you’re making an argument that Canadian o-lineman are using steroids. Again, ironic

You have a vivid imagination…and/or very poor comprehension of the English language. Nothing in my reply even hints of steroid use by anyone of any nationality. The post you are replying to is my “tongue-in-cheek” comment to debunk a previous post which suggests that, somehow, Canadian linemen are by “birthright” inferior in size/strength to their American counterparts…which, of course, is utter nonsense. With all due respect, please read that post again. There was no attempt at gravitas. so to attach “hypocritical” to that post totally escapes me.

That’s a really good theory but the real reason American Lineman are bigger is because they have way better Buffet Restaurants down there.
