MISSISSAUGA-- Intense, aggressive, competitive and fast are all words that have been used to describe this year’s Argos training camp under new Head Coach Scott Milanovich and his staff. Fans will get an opportunity to see for themselves this Saturday afternoon as the team hosts its Double Blue “Mock Game?.

The Double Blue game will feature the offence vs. the defence as players will participate in 12-on-12 scrimmages and coaches will implement some scripted plays with live play to the ball.

New QB Ricky Ray has been as good as advertised and the battle for Ray’s number one receiver has been a heated one. Receivers Andre Durie, Chad Owens and newcomer Jason Barnes have been showing off their big play talents. Defensive stalwarts Jordan Younger and Ricky Foley, as well as versatile CFL veteran Brandon Isaac, have been leading the defence through their high-tempo paces.

Fans can see the Argos play a full game live in their new, re-engineered jerseys at their home pre-season match against Montreal at Rogers Centre. The Tuesday, June 19 game features a special noon kickoff as students from around the GTA will gather at the game for a “field trip? celebrating student success.
