I believe the Calgary fans could be surprised by the play of Adrian McPherson. He excelled early in Montreal but never received an opportunity to play. He landed in Tampa Bay and, as the above material illustrates has a good ability as both a passing and running QB. Coach Hufnagel was smart in picking him up. Should Adrian get playing time this season ( I believe he will be QB 3 on the depth chart ) he just might make WPeg and, other teams regret they did not sign him when he was an available free agent.
I wish McPherson well, but would say that “excelled” is an overstatement. He showed promise, and had an outstanding in a very limited sample (72 pass attempts) in 2009; but always made me nervous as ann Als fan.
