Rumour has it that Winnipeg was shopping him for a NI Receiver and without any takers. I'm surprised they would give him an outright release because I too think someone will pick him up...AND FOR CHEAP, because , correct me if I'm wrong, but won't the Bombers have to pay him now to the end of the season?
Funny, the two Winnipeg receivers mentioned here are the very two that I have always thought show flashes of brilliance followed by complete ineptness!
As for Brock Ralph, his "White Lightning" nick points to why he's stuck for so long. Apart from his wheels? Precious little consistency, offsidenitis, and a tendency to make key drops when not invisible in long stretches of games. Not missed by most Cat fans.
Although Bowman has not been good of late I would say he has always shown a lot more promise than Ralph. Plus Bowman has only played maybe half the amount of games or less vs. Ralph.
I used to like Brock Ralph when he first became a Ticat but honestly the guy drops more balls than he catches. If the game was based on who ran the fastest then he would be okay.
Indeed. The Bishop-to-Bowman "You run toward the Cadillac on Balsam and I'll hit you" routine was lethal on occasion. However, when Bish did have to throw in the same postal code, results did vary. LOL
When I first moved to Toronto in 2003, I was going to Rogers Video on Wellesley and Yonge and a guy splashed me... and then proceeded to get T-boned at the intersection. I guess he was admiring his handy work and didn't notice that the light was red and he got smoked. I was wet (not that it matter because it was pouring rain) and I laughed my butt off for days. Over seven years later and I still laugh about.
As for Bowman, he'll catch on someone soon. Like someone else pointed out, probably in TO or Edmonton.
As for Brock Ralph, he sucks. How he's still in the league is beyond me. Oh, yeah, because of where he was born. Brock Ralph sucks. Case closed.
