With all the US expansion talks, how does it feel that a all US league has just successfully expanded into Canada?

Will Argo fans be split in half now that there is a new team in the city? Or is Toronto big enough for 2 teams in two different leagues?

Disregarding the joke (nice job on 7 posts in 6 minutes btw), I would not be even the least bit threatened by a new pro football league ... how many of those have tried and failed in the past 30 years? They've got a good idea by going off the college thing ... but I doubt it will work. The only pro football (most) Americans will support is the NFL.

One word. Toronto Phantoms. Arena Football League. A Paul Godfrey idea. Lasted two years. Couldn't draw flies. Gone and long forgotten.

Besides BB, the league has already hit a speed bump and is delaying their "kickoff" until Spring 2008 now!

Well I liked it! With a largely unknown league like that one, it’s conceivable that something like this would have slipped under the radar right up until the announcement. If you’d have gone with the NFL, that would have been too much of a reach.
