A new spin on an old joke

A bunch of football fans got together and went mountain climbing. The group consisted of one die hard fan from each CFL team. There was a fan of the Lions, the Stampeders, the Roughriders, the Eskimos, the Bluebombers, the Argos, the Ticats and the Alouettes.

When they reached the summit the Lions' fan stretched out his arms and yelled out,"This is for the Lions!" and leaped off the mountain. The Stampeder fan did likewise. He stretched out his arms wide and cried out, "This is for my beloved Stampeders!" and he leaped off the mountain to his death. That inspired the Roughrider fan to do the same. The fans of Winnipeg, Edmonton, and the Alouettes all followed suit. Each one leaped off the mountain. What amazing love and loyalty to your team, eh?

Then there were two fans left--the Ticat fan and the Argo fan. The Hamilton fan raised his arms, cried out in the loudest voice, "This is for everone!"--and pushed the Argo fan off the mountain! :rockin:

The moral of the story: always check one's spelling when doing a CFL player search for historical study. The name is Bruce Lemmerman, not "Lemmingman."

Oski Wee Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee,

Similar joke:

You are in a closed elevator with a cobra, a wolf and an Argo fan. You have a gun, but it only has 2 ammo. Who do you shoot?

You shoot the Argo fan twice!
