A Good Start!

A great start to the season even if the win was four games late. Let’s hope that Ronnie can keep it going and that this win was not a one-win blip followed by more losses. The Ti-Cats play Montreal next and then Winnipeg back to back. There are no easy games this season. Anyone know what Ron Lancasters win-loss record was from 2000 to 2003?
Tiger-Cats22

2003 doesn't count.

It HAS been a good start (we should be 3-2).

I have seen improvements from game-to-game.

2000 Second 18 9 9 0 2 470 446 20
2001 Second 18 11 7 0 0 440 420 22
2002 Third 18 7 11 1 0 427 524 15
2003 Fourth 18 1 17 0 0 293 583 2

Translating, Ron was 28-44-0-1 (.396 winning percentage) over those four years (the one representing an overtime loss in 2002 where the team received a point in the standings).

Keep in mind the 1-17 debacle was the culmination of a business decline and receivership, directly impacting on the team's ability to field a competitive team on the field.

It compares favourably to Marshall's 14-25-1 record (.363 winning percentage), even with 2003 included.

Oski Wee Wee,

Ralph Sazio, by contrast, was 49-20-1 (.707 winning percentage), 5 Grey Cup appearances and 3 Grey Cups from 1963 to 1967. He is the Ticat gold standard for coaches.

You are not taking into consideration, 1998 and 1999 when Coach Lancaster was here and had winning seasons.
