You are spot on correct too. If even niche sports and events for the US market like kickboxing, Muay Thai, bare knuckles boxing, billiards, cricket, rodeo, drag racing, et cetera have active FAST channels also with live events, damn right the CFL can do it.
In the sports category via Google’s interface via various FAST services on my TV for example, I see now 70 FAST channels!
Of course the major sports leagues and promotions like the NFL, NHL, Formula 1, UFC, NBA, UEFA, FIFA, et cetera are on these channels too for recorded events, so this is not merely some niche platform.
Once again like with their TSN contract struck in 2019 before the pandemic without any foresight at all into the streaming platforms that had already begun in their use (though all except Amazon Prime were generally shitty for live sports until at least 2023, including still Peacock), the CFL is behind the times!
