A Big Hello From England

Source please? Seems to me they hung out in the States a lot more than Australia…

they had homes on the bearchs of Queensland. and they always talked well of the Land of Aus.

So how does the fact that they owned property there translate into a "know (sic) fact" that they wished to be Australian? All it shows to me is that they liked it there.

anybody that goes to Australia wants to live there. the land down under is following with milk and honey.

I believe that Paul said he wanted to live there, like retire there.

Madonna wants to be british...

So did Conrad Black!

The Rolling Stones all had houses in France for tax purposes but did they want to be French?

Back to the origanal posters question , if you move to Vancouver the answer for your dilema is obvious , you root for tha LIONS . It's that simple , you'll see when you get here , the Lions have a coolness factor none of the other teams possess . You could start cheering for the Lions tomorrow already in fact , as they are in the West final.

pennw - so true. LOL.

how can you leave out CRAIG McLACHLAN !!

never heard of him

Kanga-Kucha might know of him

I think so

Not really

Put me down as another one from the UK who enjoys the CFL. Over the years I've watched games in various cities, but this year is the first time I will be coming over for the Grey Cup.

welcome

Alright, well obviously you'd cheer for the Stamps and Flames, otherwise your brain is missing a critical connection, since everyone knows that those are the two best teams on the planet  I'm disappointed that MA likes the NFL better, maybe we can convert him. Hey, if he's still reading, how come you like the NFL better? Please don't say, "because of the hype!" I'm also a fellow Arsenal fan, even if they're in a bit of a slump ... tell ya what, I'll keep my allegiance to Arsenal if you keep your allegiance to Calgary  So England is even more crazy during an English soccer game, than Calgary was during the Stanley Cup? crazy ...

Hello and welcome from an American CFL fan! Nice to see an englishmen rooting for the oldest form of "Football" on Earth. Doesn't matter that the CFL only has nine teams...when you "trim the fat" of the NFL during a season, that's about all the good teams there are in that league as well.

So...every game in a CFL season is important to each team. That's the way it should be. Keeps you on the edge of your seat each week!

Who you root for is in your heart. If you started with Calgary you should stick with them no matter where you live. I live in Ohio, but will be a N.Y. Islanders fan until the day I leave this Earth, since I am orginally from N.Y.

CFL is much more exciting tome then NFL, gave up on them years ago. But if you really want to know about the CFL there is no-one better to ask then a Canadian! I consider myself a true CFL fan...But...it's in THEIR blood!

By the way...One of my greatest idols is.....Eddie the Eagle!!

OH NO, we are now talking about Eddie the Eagle - i hang my head in shame.

the only reason i like the NFL better is i get to see it more often. We get really good coverage of the NFL over here in Britville on sunday and monday nights but we never here anything about the CFL. i have to check out the scores and standings on the internet which is just not as much fun. don't get me wrong i love the CFL and i love the stamps but i just get to see the NFL more.

hope you all had a good Christmas, i wish you all an amazing New Year.

Magic

OK I need to make an announcement. If and when I become rich and famous....yeah....pffft! I want to live in one place and one place only.....CANADA!!!!
