Well, well, well Toronto is on the board with 2, Saskatchewan adds 1, and the winner is (drumroll please) …Ottawa Rough Riders with 3 big ones. Looks like we’re going to have a two way race to the top.

Do we have a CFL Virtual Dirtiest Team (VDT) 2024 pool yet?

Good thing Simoni retired or we would already have it wrapped up.

It has been pretty well in hand for the Riders but Ottawa seems to be giving them a run for the money…

11 Saskatchewan
8 Ottawa
6 Edmonton *2 non playing fouls for a QB who needed to shut up.
5 Montreal
5 Winnipeg
4 Hamilton
3 BC
2 Toronto
1 Calgary

Toronto joins the race to help pay for Randy’s beer…

The block on Houston was clean. Shouldn’t even have been a penalty let alone a fine.
football is a rough game or at least it used to be.

The block on Houston USED TO BE CLEAN but then players were ending up with concussions and the rule was changed a few years ago , all the players should know the rule by now therefore a fine was well deserved and expected .

There is a whiniest fans award, it has been awarded to Winnipeg fans ever since going on a 4 year GC appearance run. Why is it the rich kid is always the least liked?

It’s great to see there’s still “head” rooms available at the ABC Inn & Suits Hotel. Please renew my reservation for the LDC & BB 2025, the rent is still free, right? :sunglasses:

Well obviously, but I can’t guarantee the cleanliness or your safety in there lol :joy::joy:

I expect nothing better than that, you know location, location, location. I’m planning a huge party though. We’re going to have a “Wreck The Kranium” (WTK) theme.
Are you ready for some football

All players have to know the rules. The player association has pushed for safety and that hit on Houston was a blind side hit . That has been in the rules for a number of years now for the safety of all players. It took Houston out of the game for about a quarter. So yes it was a penalty and fine offense. Samuel Emilus has been fined a number of time so he has my vote for the dirtiest player of the year. As for the most undisciplined team it is pretty obvious that the Riders get my vote for that.

How many times has Emilus been fined this year?

Even though Ottawa and Hamilton… have more penalties this year so far?

You at least gotta pay the GST and PST and there is that skill testing question

When I went to school , back in the 60s, they taught that 11 (SASK) was more than 8 (Ottawa ) or 4 (Hamilton). But maybe the NEW MATH these days that is no longer the case. LOL
We are talking about penalties that resulted in fines because they were more serious than an offside or pass interference.

No, that 1 for the Stamps is now the least in the league on the season.

So your saying offside and pass interference is disciplined play??? Back when I went to grade school they taught the meaning of discipline.

I was also taught that the 13 points the Riders have in the west division is greater than the 9 points the last place stamps have.

I was responding to a previous poster who claimed that Ottawa & Hamilton where penalized more. So I had to point out the topic was Fined Penalties.

That is true what you say but I guess in Regina they taught unsportsmanship and disobeying the rules at all costs by the fact that the Riders are the MOST Fined

Team in the CFL for Dirty and unsafe actions. Not much for their fans to brag about, eh? I mean only 4 points difference between the Stamps (least fined)who obey the rules and the Despicable cheaters named Sask(Regina) Riders. Bet the Riders keep getting fined for dirty hits but still don’t make the GC. Where I learned in school CHEATERS do not prosper.

Historically The Stamps have been way better than the basement dwellers (Riders) over the past what 5 years or longer. Shame they have to get fined so much to get only 4 points out of the basement
