REGINA — 323 days ago it was Tre Ford who led the Edmonton Elks to what was their last victory. The Canadian quarterback played his part in Edmonton’s first win of the 2024 season as his team came out of Regina with a 42-31 victory against the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday evening.
saskatchewan roughriders were torched for 515 net yards by the Edmonton Elks who were a 0-7 entering this game and considered the worst team in the CFL. 276 yards rushing, 252 passing, Wow, the riders now have to go back to the drawing board once again to figure out who they and their season projection.
Hey… over here. Pass some of that gloating around to this year’s OTHER disappointing franchise in the CFL. We dead-in-the-water Bombers beat the tar out of the all powerful Lions yesterday. What are we? Chopped liver?

Yea! Go Bombers Go. It was a very impressive game by the Bombers to shut out the BC Lions who by all accounts by some saying is the best team In the CFL, not so yesterday. Teams now finding their groove just before the half point of the season. It will be a very Interesting exciting second half to 2024 with the culmination of the Grey Cup Championship game.
