3 stats that defined BC's Week 20 win over Montreal

VANCOUVER — The BC Lions head into the playoffs looking like their most dangerous version.

Pivot a Vernon Adams Jr. was back under centre for the Leos and guided the team to yet another explosive passing outing in the 27-3 win over the Montreal Alouettes on Saturday.

This would have been more impressive a few weeks back when the results actually mattered. So will BC be starting with Adams Jr in the playoffs? I’m thinking they have to.

  1. VAJ played
  2. Rourke. Did not play
  3. No need for stat three

Vernon Adams looked very good in the Lions impressive win in B.C versus the Als in their final regular season game. :star_struck: The Lions held the Als pointless until the :four: th frame. :kissing_heart: :kissing_heart: The Als secondary was exploited all day long by the big play. The Als were coming off a short week-Thanksgiving Monday and it showed in their lacklustre performance. :exclamation: :football: :vietnam:

As I mentioned just last week, if Vernon Adams Jr. was given the chance to retake his qb starting position he and Justin McInnis would lite it up on the field of play once again. The whole BC Lions team responded in dominate fashion starting with the offense’s stars plus their defense bring their A game and playing with a urgency to get their act together for the playoffs. Great game BC Lions without Rourke at the helm, now keep it going as you have a chance to play on your home field in the Grey Cup.

VA never looked so good then against Mail it in Montreal
Don’t be fooled by how good BC looked

You sure sound like an alouettes fan , don’t you ( not )? you aren’t fooling
anybody. Try telling the truth …if that is possible?

To rider01.1…his name says who he cheers for , but for some reason ( or lack of
reason ) he pretends to be an alouettes fan. Not sure he is a fan of anything.
He is quite enthusiastic about put-downs toward the Roughriders. Guess what he
really is…is an anti-Roughriders groupie?

If you check his profile he’s an Argo fan. No surprise if he favors the East. I would mostly favor any West team over any East team.

Never doubt that I am a big time fan of the CFL Montreal Alouettes. But hey lets set the record straight, Im no Gil Renard (Robert DeNiro/The Fan) kind of fan like most of you over zealous over the top people who comment on this site.

Go Alouettes!

Bonjour

I sense the Riderville fanbase is quaking in their boots and getting really nervous at the prospect of Vernon Adams Jr. and the BC Lions coming to their little hamet regina to lay a playoff beatdown on the riders.

Montreal no longer seems to be a Grey Cup team. I would be fascinated by Coach Mass’ explanation of the team’s lack of performance. Are they playing possum or has the team lost its mojo?

I have to agree with Sundown. It’s been several weeks now and Mtl just doesn’t seem to be the same. The hunger, for victory, doesn’t seem to be there. Playing possum is a dangerous tactic because it is very hard to just switch it on to play well.
