MONTREAL – It looked all but over for the BC Lions as the Montreal Alouettes took the lead with 28 seconds left to play on Saturday night. In football, one thing is always for certain – it’s not over until it’s over.
A bazillion BC penalties… don’t forget THAT stat. Strangely the most consequentail penalty was the one that Montreal took to give BC excellent field position while down two points with time running out.
And here’s the stat the made this game borderline epic: BC crammed two plays into three seconds with no time outs left and the stadium clock showing zeros. Somehow they still had .2 seconds remaining to kick the winning FG in regulation.
What a crazy finish. Never never ever leave the stadium early or turn the channel until the fat lady fills her face with chocolate.
She’s frustrated that we’re not more appreciative (giddy even) of the budding superstar that the CFL has in Nathan Rourke. We devote far too much attention to the fading superstar that we have here in Winnipeg who’s off the charts one game and mediocre the next.
there was no epic tantrum. pretty obvious i’m just annoyed by constantly being drowned out by BOMBERS BOMBERS BOMBERS in every topic, even when it doesn’t concern them. the CFL is not called the WINNIPEG BLUEBOMBERS LEAGUE and this isn’t the BOMBERSFORUM.CA. it’s friggen pathetic all the bombers pearl clutching in every discussion here.
It’s good to hear a Bomber’s fan admit that ZC is fading, at times quite badly. They win as many games despite his play as they do because of it.
Luckily for the rest of the league, they don’t have a viable replacement yet either. If it weren’t for their defence, they would be lucky to have won any games this year
