Too gimmicky for me
TDs and FGs don’t have different values based on distance.
The 1 and 2 PATs right now are at least 2 different type of plays.

Thats my feeling as well
As much as I try to get into some of the US alt leagues its just some of the rules feel too gimmicky
I supposed many Americans feel the same way when they hear about the Rouge
I know rules have changed historically but major rule changes I just have an aversion for
Like NHL shootouts and MLB phantom base runners

The only scoring change I’d like to see is increasing a safety to something like 4 points because they’re so difficult to get.
Then again, the team that scores a safety also gets possession so maybe just 2 is good enough.

I think the old NFL Europe had 4 points for a 50+ field goal.
Let’s do it.
Keep games closer. Make coaches have to make the decision.
