MONTREAL — One of the Canadian Football League’s most storied rivalries takes centre stage on Friday Night Football as the defending Grey Cup champion Toronto Argonauts travel to Montreal to face the Alouettes.
I think you are right, all I am asking for is any kind of TD by Argos so that I can place a decent wager on Als money line that would be worth the risk. Last check it had Als only paying 40$ on 100$ bet .
That aside I am hoping Argos blow Als out of stadium, but am told cant happen. Would love to see Alexander flop, but their defense is too much for Argos .
I had bet against the Bombers the last 3 GC’s when the line was more than 2 scores. Not only did the Argos & Als cover they won outright. I think that early in the season there are bound to be “upsets”.
We dont know how good Als are based on This game. Argos came in awful just as predicted. We know Als D is good, but lets wait and see what happens when Als face a great team
Who predicted the Argos were “awful”? This very site had the Als at 6th overall and last in their division in their preseason rankings.
It’s a double whammy: Montreal gets ignored or discounted before the game, then has its victory minimized after the game because they apparently beat up on weak opposition, even when that opposition is the defending Grey Cup champs.
They were awful, the bookies called it right. I have only 1 vice and I wanted to wager on Als money line, dont do spreads. There was no serious option before or during game to make a wager on Als. For the sake of mathematics lets use 100$ wager , that would have got you 30$ ,thats the lowest I can recall for any CFL team. Even BC over the Esks today is at 1.40 on decimal measure . Als beat the worst team in the CFL . I hope Ott will be better against Als next week
