Cheering for Joe Flacco on the Bengals feels wrong

Not as wrong as cheering for the Steelers.

After watching the Jets beat the Flyers 5-2 I watched some baseball, but the Blue Jays are up 5-1 so I switched to this game in the hope of finding something competitive to watch tonight other than Top Chef Canada.

The Bengals up 17-10 and first and goal with 5 minutes gone in the 3rd quarter. Unexpected, but good to see.

Meh, you know this can’t be done by everybody once each person crosses a certain age in life.
Just because you can start that old engine the same does not mean the car is going to run anywhere near like right out of the showroom.
Then it’s harder to start.
Then sometimes it won’t start.
Then one day you are like, “ah screw it,” I’m doing something else today anyway.
But like in football, the drinking and loafing around on the sidelines more, watching the game, can get better.
It’s cool that Joe Flacco is getting it done and won the Icy Hot Bowl last night.

But I still don’t understand that trade away from Cleveland, and I do think somehow the league was involved beyond the rubber stamp as well.
