In consulting with @BomberJunkie and @Abbey I have been asked once again to repeat the rules of the pool as a friendly reminder and expect this will be the last time.
The pick above is invalid. While we welcome banter about picks and attempts at humour, we cannot accept picks that require private detective work or are inspired by the game of Clue or require an algebraic formula to decipher their meaning. However you wish to narrate your picks is fine, but please ensure that they are discernible at a quick glance to Bomber Junkie. He must enter them into his program and he tells me that he reviews the picks to ensure they are correct 2-3 times. You can imagine the difficulty if some 50 of us picked in this fashion. There is also the danger that they are interpreted one way by us and then later we are told that is not what the person meant. It impugns the integrity of the pool and causes Junkie extra time and aggravation. Please repost your picks properly to have them entered for this week’s pool.
I will also take this opportunity to restate the rules on changing picks. Once again, it is to be the exception. That is reserved for things such as unexpected injuries during the week or a death in the family that removes a critical player for the game. It is not meant to be available for participants to pick early and blindly when it is known that a QB for example is questionable and then change the pick when we find out he is in or out. If your pick is dependent on something like that then please wait until later in the week to make it once the injury reports give us some more info. Last week a lot of people flip flopped like a seal based on QB injuries instead of waiting, This week please don’t do the same if for example you care about whether Harris is starting for Saskatchewan or not, which I don’t think is known as of yet. As previously stated it makes Junkie’s job much harder to deal with changed picks so please only do that when there is good reason and avoid the intentional double post weeks if at all possible.
