Well if I have a say in the matter, I would say a hiatus this week for new paper bags due to the home-and-away situation of course.
But rest assured, for any teams who lose AND still have a losing record, weāll have plenty of FRESH sad sacks for issuance to fans of those teams.
I donāt feel any teams who won this weekend should rest on laurels in this week of rivalry games.

Not that my Elks are off the hook with any loss to the Bombers in the upcoming home-and-away, but with a bye we shall continue our break from sad sacks until 21 September!

I think we can ship them to Calgary now. It would be nice to have every team compete every week but the Stamps lost their mojo, and I donāt see them finding it any time soonā¦

After week 4 (when we were 0-4) we were outside knocking on the Paper Bag Bowl Thread @Paolo_X, but our application for membership was rejected. Even the twenty bucks I stapled to the form didnāt get my Bombers in. I guess nobody believed we were THAT bad.
Weāll be leaving this thread a less than positive yelp review thanks to your giving us the heave-ho on that sad, rainy day just two months ago. I had to walk all the way home in soggy shoes to tell the rest of the guys what happened. We were one unhappy bunch.
