(I meant but the hockey team might be better at football than either of them)
NY Jets
Carolina
Cincinnati
Houston
Dallas
New Orleans
So far behind so I’m going off script and hoping this is the week of the upset. I’ll probably regret it and this will therefore likely be the only time I do such a thing. I figure the Jets and the Saints are the longest shots to upset while Cowboys/Steelers is a pick’em.
But some no good galoots you named already have their picks in…
Aye I overlooked you that time pardon me, but as we are playing also by strict rules as you know, we can’t be too careful at times, so as to leave no galoot unshaken or unstirred.
Plus you are on my short list to overtake, so I have to keep you running anyway.
New York Jets
Carolina Panthers
Baltimore Ravens
Buffalo Bills
Pittsburgh Steelers
New Orleans Saints
Thanks!
Such keeners! Only 4 galoots to go!
Here are my Week 5 picks;
Minnesota Vikings
Chicago Bears
Baltimore Ravens
Houston Texans
Pittsburgh Steelers
Kansas City Chiefs
Just have to say, I’m not a fan of the delirious amounts of blue/white, red/white, and red/white/blue icons there are in the NFL…
you stole my intended pick combo
just waiting for injury updates.
Great minds think alike!
This week I made sure that no one would steal my pick combo. I’ll either be gloating or in the infirmary and unavailable for comment on Monday.
I understand the strategy. When you are down and out, sometimes you just go big or go home, plus it’s early enough in the season.
You stole my picks first you cagey varmint.
Other than who has responded already with or without picks, we’re still waiting on these two galoots:
@AYC2112 @Hometown_Fan
Sure you might have screwed something else up this week already, but don’t screw up this one too you varmints.
I think they are legit in the NFC
this is more hoping for fantasy purposes.
gonna start slow but pick up at the end.
big rebound game against the Diva
bullish on this Steelers defence, even if it had an off game against Joe Flacco
it will be a some how some way type game.
Perfect. Just as I planned. If one of us is 6-0 the other will be 0-6.
Minnesota I’m starting to think that Aaron Rodgers is past his prime. He probably doesn’t know it yet, but he is. He won’t be able to match one of the best teams in the league.
Carolina Don’t know why I’m picking Carolina but I’m guessing that with a veteran QB at the helm and an improving running game they might surprise this week.
Cincinnati Simply taking the home team in this division game.
Houston With Joe Mixon back I think Houston’s offense will get back on track. Buffalo is going to bounce back after a bad game but I don’t think they’ll pull this one out on the road.
Pittsburgh I believe in Justin Fields and the Steelers defense. They’re also playing at home. Dallas has really underperformed expectations because they lack a solid running game.
Kansas City Kansas City will grind this one out because they’re at home. Andy Reid will figure out a way to scheme their depleted offense up. Going to be a close game.
Thanks @Jon, @mahalcflers and @BomberJunkie!
