I can’t believe my eyes. Richards is on the game day roster.
Excellente nouvelle, j’espère qu’il demeurera en santé, son talent est indéniable.
We can’t catch a break
He would have been useful against BC.
Mack out for 6. F***!!!
Oyoyyoe
Better now than later I guess, hopefully we can use the next two weeks to get healthy before our two week bouts against Redblacks and Argos, as those game will matter the most for standing purposes in order for us to get the number one seed in the division. Getting a win against the BC Lions will be tough, but I expect to beat Calgary even without our #1 receivers, so hopefully we go at least 1-1 in the next two weeks.
What the hell, that’s terrible luck. Let’s hope the 6-game is precautionary and that the team is ready to pull him off it early if he makes a quick recovery.
Edit: Who steps in to replace Mack’s American spot on the roster? I see that Barbon is currently on the active roster so probably him…
Edit 2: Mack’s injury happens, of course, in the worst way for us as far as the week goes – on day 3, after he’s already received all the first-team reps at field WR. Grr.
We’re getting three key pieces back on special teams in Richards, Leblanc, and Chagnon. I would hope for a strong performance all around in coverage and returns.
Edit: I just saw that Lestage is a GTD as well. Given how short we are at national starters, I would think Gibbon would start if PO can’t go…
I will be among the 22k!
Forecast looks like a nice night … enjoy

Yeah, I was curious to know if Howell would sub for Mack on the roster, but didn’t see him and saw Barbon, so I assumed either the team didn’t like what they saw from Howell or he asked for his release.
This is very strange, he can’t finish practice and within a couple hours they put him on the six game which makes his salary a non counter but makes him possibly available for the post season. I guess not sharing information about injuries has its uses.
Herb said yesterday that he saw Mack hurt his ankle as he fell over. Apparently, it didn’t look good as per Herb.
Thanks, crazy stuff…
Too bad about Austin Mack. Really good player - has a chance to go down as a CFL great after he recovers from this nasty injury.
I see Rourke coming out of the chute like a house on fire and getting off to a 14-0 lead before Als get their socks on.
After that, Als are too good defensively and solid offensively to succumb that easily to a .500 western team. They’ll fight back but despite home field advantage I don’t think they’ll be able to overcome The Rourke Brigade. Vernon might also see action in a few series to keep him limber.
The toughest opponent for the Als is their record. 10-1.
BC is .500. They need this thing far, far more than the Als - who’ve pretty much locked up a berth in the eastern final.
A loss to a desperate team with the 2 best QBs in the league isn’t a shame. Just getting out of the game with no more injuries is the key.
And Lions travelling out east 2 of the last 3 weeks.
Als coming off a Bye.
We shall see Lyle.
Go Als
Therefore a Lions victory, they are used to travel and the Als will be tired and flat coming off the bye.
