Wpg. was a good team. Sorry WGTC, but they aren’t the same team this year. They will still get accolades, based on past performance, but last year’s team won’t win any games for them this year. Maybe it is too early to call for a “re-build” but they have to get younger.

ya…not sure if Maier is doing it with mirrors yet…maybe Jake 2.0 is for real…too early to tell. And, of course, ditto for Riders, but in case nobody noticed, they won first two on the road. Still, as usual, they will get no respect. However, they also won while shooting themselves, repeatedly, in the foot. If Mace confiscates their guns, they could be a candidate for top spot.
Funny that the two teams that are 2-0 are not considered to be contenders. And, the soon-to-be 0-3 BB are still revered.

The most important Stat last week was the 50,000++ attendance in Vancouver, they had 50 Cent for a concert. Last year the Elks big crowd was a Taylor Swift promotion, the other 17 games were terrible attendance. Any 1st year University business student would point out the reason---- but the fix is elusive. CFL is not a good product for Edmonton any more, compared to 15 years ago. The Board needs to resign.
A long time ago the BOARD in Riderville was the same. They hired football people but also constantly meddled . Jim Hopson came along and got rid of the board .
