:als_red: Alouettes de Montréal Feels like a bit of a trap game, raising the Grey Cup banner for the home opener. There’s a risk of an emotional letdown after two hard-fought road wins. Still, barring injuries, I think we do just enough to win and keep the 2023 “streak” alive.
:bclions: BC Lions Super-tough pick. I picked Winnipeg the past two weeks and wasn’t rewarded. Do I really bet against the Bombers at home, with their backs to the wall? Not if they’re healthy, but with all their injuries and the Lions’ performance in week 2, yes.
:argonauts: Toronto Argonauts A sneaky-hard pick, as Edmonton showed very well in a tough, close loss to Montreal in week 2. But on the road against a ferocious Toronto defence, I don’t think they have quite enough to get it done.
:tigercats: Hamilton Tiger-Cats This is my long-odds roll of the dice. Hamilton were within a minute of getting their first win of the year, until the wheels came off on both offence and defence. I think they come into Regina and scrap out a redemption win.

Through two weeks and 8 games, the home team has won 4 times for a 50% win rate.

Not so sure about that. The Riders lost 2 key receivers during the game. We’ll have to wait to see how serious the injuries are. I think Sterns will be out with that knee for a while.

Interesting that the 2 2-0 teams both started with 2 road victories.

No worries they are playing a Mark Washington led defense . Those two receivers won’t even be missed .
