Aw for Pete’s sake. I thought the Bombers had first place wrapped up already.
Now we’re gonna have to put the pedal to the metal and run over the Argos (then stick it in reverse and run 'em over again just to be certain) next Friday here in Winnipeg.
Those two teams have gone in opposite directions this year. Edmonton’s gotten better while Calgary’s gotten worse. I’ll bet that trend continues until Dickenson decides to be either a GM or a Coach but not both.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Winnipeg has to lose eventually but I can’t see it happening this week at home, against a Toronto team that hasn’t shown it’s fully in gear.
Edmonton Elks
This is less a vote of confidence for Edmonton and more a reflection of how low the Stamps have fallen this year.
Saskatchewan Roughriders
Ssk is far from being unbeatable at home this year. However, the Lions needed two defensive scores to pull away with the win against a subpar Calgary team last week, at home to boot, and something just doesn’t look right with Rourke and that offence.
Alouettes de Montréal
Both teams coming off an extended bye week, but Montreal is playing at home and Ottawa has too many injured. Als win a close one.
