Another trip to East from West.
The Als refreshed from 12 days rest.
BC is running low on fumes.
An Eastern beating, one assumes.
The Argonauts have got back Kelly.
They’ll cut through teams like knives thru jelly.
He’ll bound to be the likely reason,
The Argos turn around their season.
The second of a doubleheader.
I think the Riders will play better.
Though winning 2 is hard to do.
I’ll have to this week take Big Blue.
Are they the Elks…or Antelope?
Green & …“GOLD” or “CANTALOUPE”??
Whatever colour they display
The Stamps are going to rue the day.
Alouettes de Montréal
This one could go either way. I’m going with Montreal based mostly on home-field advantage, coming off a bye week, and playing a team operating on a shortened week.
Toronto Argonauts
Injuries are hitting Ottawa at an inopportune time, and releasing their starting RB for discipline/anger issues isn’t going to help. I also still don’t believe in their ability to stop the pass, and expect the Sexual Harasser to light them up.
Saskatchewan Roughriders
Could flip this pick if Zach is at 100% and ready to start, but if Winnipeg is putting Streveler under centre, advantage goes to the Riders. (Yeah, I’m betting on Sask again. Fools never learn…)
Edmonton Elks
Horrible that these teams have to play again after playing on Monday. Let’s hope no one gets seriously hurt. With both clubs breathing fumes, I’ll take Edmonton’s home-field advantage and MBT firing on all cylinders. Also not beyond the realm of possibility that Tre Ford comes in for a package of plays to attack what should be a tired Calgary defence.
