Calgary Stampeders
Calgary is lousy on the road but great at home. Ottawa likely will be starting a next-level-rusty Masoli instead of injured Dru Brown, and they’re banged up.
Saskatchewan Roughriders
The Riders are at home, winless in three, and desperate to keep pace in the tight western race. Montreal is on a short week and missing basically most of its starting receiving corps, including no. 1 receiver Tyson Philpot. Sask gets off the schneide in front of their fans.
Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Am I cuckoo? This could be Hamilton’s season, and Powell certainly moved the ball a whole lot better in their loss to Montreal than BLM did. I might change my mind if Forde starts for Edmonton.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Nothing convinces me that the Lions can be a winning team with Dolegala at the controls. Winnipeg is coming out of a bye week very much in the thick of a playoff race, with Jordan Younger’s defence playing at an elite level.
