The play wasn’t moving toward Weber initially. When he sees Caleb keeping the play alive he starts to move, then goes out of the side-camera frame. Presumably he was either trying to get open or picking up a block. He did fine. That was a broken play.

Sur RDS, Pierre Vercheval a mentionné que dans le cas de M. Weber jr, il est possible que l’on le revoie avec l’équipe lorsqu’il sera en santé, c’est des situations qui se sont déjà passées.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Releasing a guy because he’s battling injury is very different from releasing a guy because he didn’t measure up to his training camp competition.
And even then, we cut Reggie Stubblefield last year! Anything’s possible.
